FHA-KETTERA HOCKEY PROGRAM

Finland hockey academy Kettera – the academy's sports program lasts for 8 months during which the players, in average, play about 40 games in the hockey championship of Finland and also participate in tournaments and training camps as part of the preparation of the club for the season.

The academy's affiliate club, Imatran Ketterä, is an ice hockey club based in Imatra (Finland). Ketterä's senior team plays in Mestis league (the Finnish second-tier league). Ketterä has played in Mestis since 2017 and has won the championship three times (2019, 2021, 2022).

The professional work methodology at FHA-KETTERA creates an opportunity for foreigners to adapt to the Finnish ice hockey style of playing, as well as to raise their training preparation to a new level.

The athletes play hockey professionally and compete in the hockey championship of Finland.

Academy's team is a part of Finnish Suomi-Sarja U19 championship. The roster consists of 16 international players and 10 local players from Finland.
